Hmmm, I think I spent most of that time online in various Flash game sites - Miniclip, Mofunzone, Kongregate, Armor Games, and many more. I used to play a lot of Stick Arena on XGen Studios site as well.
Yes, Armor Games had some great Flash content! I was on there as well, now I think about it.

@Red, White and Real Yup, I most vividly remember games like Sonny, as well as Battle for Gondor, from the very early days, when Armor Games was still Games of Gondor. I used to spend a decent amount exploring various games when they had their badges/achievements in there, but most have slipped my mind in time.

Oh, yes! My kids clued me in about Neopets. They had me buy them, as well. We spent hours on that site and others.

Between Neopets, Bratz, and the tons of Pokémon items they wanted, my handle should've been "Zero_Bank_Account_Dad".

It was an amazing website, you also could edit your layout just like here/myspace. Shame the owner decided to close it and open the store with the same name
It's more mid/late 2000s, but Gaia Online, and DeviantART. At least, once I got reliable access to a computer that wasn't dial-up.
