If you were a rock, what type would you be?

Back to General Discussion

I'm talking igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary here.

Personally I think I'd be metamorphic because I am ever-evolving and transforming with every major event. I have been many people, and yet the same all at once. I have a lot of layers so I think I'd be a foliated metamorphic rock of some sort, probably gneiss.

I think I resonate with sedimentary the most. I like how the different layers of the sandstone look, but also because I think as I continue to grow and change, I still keep the old parts of me close to my heart.

I know nothing about rocks, but slate is rad.

As much as I'd love to say obsidian, I'm probably gabbro 😆

Condensed shit that has hardened into a rock-like form

A Coprolite. Congratulations.

@Kommando Mutiliid

No way I didn't know that had a name! I learnt something today

@xXx_GeorgeBleedsBlack_xXx hey, those are pretty important to archaeologists :^)

I feel like sedimentary is my vibe, just compressed over the years. Ill say conglomerate since I'm really just a bundle of everyone around me

two things awe me most: the starry sky above me, and the moral law within me"

I would probably be a ingenious rock like Basalt or Peridotite!

A ROCK STAR!!! XD

But if I had to be real I’d probably say some kind of igneous rock, maybe rhyolite??

I'd pick Obsidian just for the Minecraft thing. LOL XD

hmmm, sour rock candy

just got inside from really hot weather and im relating to those igneous rocks at the moment

I always had a thing for river stones so maybe that.. or maybe those types of rocks that look regular on the outside but when you break them open they're all colorful and shiny?? But probably a river stone. I know nothing about rocks despite having collected them as a child lmao

Rock salt.

Probably clastic sedimentary rock for me, because I am an amalgamation of things past.

Dolomite rock.
