@Eddsworld both portals are awesome. i love pvz but i never played papers please
@stevee I highly recommend it if you're into puzzle games beyond Portal! It is a very short game (3-4 hours) about working at a border checkpoint. I think it has interesting things to say and also it has multiple endings so I think that helps make up for it taking little time to get from the beginning to end of a run. Beyond the story reasons people usually play the game for, the actual gameplay is just really fun to me! Even if it is stressful later into the game since you need to cross reference so much information in multiple documents in very little time.
Sorry, whose world is it?
1. Little Big Planet 2
2. Minecraft
3. Doki Doki Lit Club

@Yuuka minecraft is a childhood favorite, portal 1 is short but great, and as for the rest i never played
Touhou games are pretty fun if you like shooting games! Legally, I'd recommend 10 for beginners as it's pretty simple and downloadable on Steam and also has my wife Kanako. If you're into pirating though, start with 6, the first game for Windows, and download it on Moriya Shrine.

@Tristan i think i like half life 1 a little bit more than 2, but generally a good list, i haven't l=played rdr but i do love gta
@stevee I really love HL1s combat more than HL2 but 2 story is so impactful to me. RDR is def a crazy time sink but it has an insanely immersive world.
@Tristan i think half life 2 is a beautiful game, but i can't help but think they made it too cinematic? you can't really kill npcs and it feels less like you're actually in gordon freeman's perspective. i've seen vids of people playing rdr.
1. Minecraft (all time great)
2. Left 4 Dead 2 (will FOREVER be my hyperfixation when it comes to zombie games!!)
3. Dead by Daylight (P100 Dwight P100 Pyramid Head!!)
4. Silent Hill 3 (best storyline)
last but not least
5. Terraria (CALAMITY MOD CAN'T STAND ME)
honorable mentions: TF2, L4D1 and Silent Hill 2 Remake

@eevarrlee all good games, except for maybe roblox given how it is now. only one i've never played was ddlc.
Very tough but I think
1- NieR Replicant
2- DELTARUNE
3- NieR Automata
4- NieR Re[IN]carnation
5- Yakuza 1
Deltarune will probably be number 1 once its fully finished as it has done tremendous good to the point of most considering it cringe but I don't like putting unfinished things into "absolute favorite" categories.
