@Dreamless I am loving it. So much to do! And the quests are well spaced to give plenty of room to alternate between mining and everything else. And as a lover of character customization, being able to change outfit at any given time is also amazing. And the combat is fun. So yeah I do recommend!!

4. Alan Wake II (2023) -- This one was a surprise to me when it dropped, because I was pretty heavily underwhelmed by the original, even less whelmed by XLA's messy American Nightmare, and wasn't particularly swept up by Control as many were.
5. Pathologic (2005) -- Pathologic 2 (2019) is also incredibly close, surpasses the original in many respects -- but Pathologic edges out it's sequel (remake) because a) there is an undeniable uncomfortable charm to it's absurd jank -- and b) you also get the campaign/story for the peak Bachelor/Daniil (see also: Pathologic 3) and Changling/Klara (my precious bbg0rl), whereas P2 is entirely dedicated to the gigachad Haruspex/Artemy.
