the reason that i say this is bcuz i usually play games out of boredom, but most of my games are either gacha games (umamusume, hsr) or ds games on my emulator (imagine: ice champions, rockin pretty)

gamer = someone who plays game, it doesn't matter what game you play, as long as it's a game, you're a gamer
All you gotta do is play a game to be a gamer. You don’t have to complete it 100% to be labeled as a gamer. Play for the sake of gaming. They’re meant to be played when you’re bored lol.

Personally, I'd say you're a casual gamer but a gamer nonetheless. I haven't played a game since the PS2 days, now my kids and my late wife were the gamers in the our family. I think the last game I may have played wss either King's Field II or Wild Arms on the PS2.
