@vera wow thank you so much, these are absolutely splendid and 'm glad I remind you of that cause those are some of my favorite things ever and part of what I'm going for lol, the grain on that second one is so perfect it feels like a faint memory,  and so is the first one ofc  your photography encapsulates so many emotions I could look at them forever!! I wondered what the little effect at the side is called, I'm assuming it's caused by the sun :o My first point and shoot use to do that and mess up all my photos lol. I'm also curious which camera models were used for those if you don't mind answering that!! Thank you so much again I'll cherish these ! 

@Lulu's Mauling wowie thank you for saying all that, genuinely. i don't think of my photos as particularly emotional when i'm taking them, i'm usually just standing there going "oh that's nice" and clicking the button, so it's always weird hearing what other people see in them. 

the first one was shot on a Pentax K1000, and that effect on the side is just a little film muck up called a light leak, basically when the film accidentally gets exposed to light. yikes. thankfully that one was salvageable, but you should've seen the other frames. i love when film does something it wasn't supposed to do and you just have to accept it haha. it's usually light getting in somewhere it shouldn't, sometimes through the seal or if the back isn't sitting quite right. the grain on the second is probably mostly the film stock, but the underwater light definitely didn't help, it was pretty low light down there so i'm guessing the exposure made the grain a bit more noticeable too haha
