granted i know labels are for losers, but here lately ive been sorta wanting to branch out my style. ive always sorta considered my aesthetic like, 2000s metalhead (or like. nu metalhead if that makes sense)

It's okay to like the fashion style and know nothing about the music. Having a passion about aesthetics as well as music is a great thing but don't feel that you have to know both to rock it!
ive always felt so out of place in the alt scene because of the fact that i've never had a concrete "aesthetic". i like the (scene)emo subculture, metalhead style, authentic 90s grunge/some riot grrl, mallgoth... the list goes on for what i like to dress like. i found that having pieces of each of these styles in my closet and picking and choosing how i want to dress a certain day really helps with that. there are multiple wolves inside my head and they all want to wear certain things, and thats what makes me me :>
also, im not a scene kid at ALL so feel free to correct me if im wrong, but a lot of scene kids focus on the style & lifestyle rather than the music. emos on the other hand are extremely music based ^^' so don't worry too much about scene music
