ill start, agonal breathing!
Megadeth, Metallica,Type O negative, Suicidal Tendencies,
@xXtypehoesnegativeXx lots of thrash in there! awesome :3
Nemophila, Delain, Nightwish, Circle of Dust, the first ones that pop into my head. Got a lot of metal-adjacent stuff that I mainly listen to as well, but don't quite fit the genre (metalcore, hard rock etc)
@Cordell havent heard of some of those! ill give them a listen :3
@cleebsto vein.fm is cool !! i used to listen to them
I wouldn't be a very good metal gatekeeper if I did that, now would I?
Worship Me -- I am dead
@Kommando Mutiliid well i see you listen to noise which is a good enough answer for me :3 great music taste you have!! not quite noise but you should listen to disgust ! they're a power violence band
System of a down,Judas priest,Metallica,Megadeth and Pantera
🍞 Bread makes you FAT?!?

@⦻ necrochan kekht arakh and three days grace are the ones i recognize the most here, i listen to lots of black metal and grew up on TDG!
Machine Head, (early) Arch Enemy, Sunami, Knocked Loose, DRAIN, Outta Pocket
I listen to a lot of things lol
@BrownZombie mostly hardcore!! i love hxc and have been listening and going to local shows for quite some time now, definitely good picks! saw sunami live and have a signed vinyl!
Sunami is one of the craziest shows I've been to lol it was ROWDY but fun
nightwish, amon amarth, sabaton, HIM, children of bodom- and i could list like 20 more lol but these are my top 5 fave bands right now !!
@dollfaced ah i saw amon amarth live! really good band live, haven't delved deep into their actual releases much though.
Just to throw back to my lil metalhead days (which I still delve into on the regular)
Iron Maiden (my first concert!)
Black Sabbath
Venom
Slayer
Metallica
Anthrax
Nuclear Assault
Mercyful Fate
Exodus
Celtic Frost
And just to be honest with my guilty pleasure glamish stuff from back in the day
Twisted Sister
Motley Crue (first album!)
WASP
Guns N Roses
A few other things that may or may not 'count' depending
Blue Cheer
Deep Purple
Jane's Addiction
Lately I've been digging for metal songs from before Black Sabbath - that 1968-1969 era. Have come up with a handful. Maybe two dozen tracks? Plus a bunch more from the early 70s.
The cure
Black Sabbath
R.E.M
I used to listen to their songs a lot on my moody days or when I’m feeling ROCK N ROLL
“Life is what you make it not anybody else”
abnegation, day of suffering, state craft, nehemiah, goatamentise, all out war, scattered remnants, viral load, stabwound, dehumanized, deformity, eternal suffering, disgorge, repudilation, and a lot of others
