@βͺβ MerAβ βͺ maybe, but far enough removed in history to be more of a memorial to the event rather than a visceral experience. And I suggest grey scale rather than color to keep it grounded in its time period and somewhat respectful for an attempted rendering that going for full color.
Plus, I figured the subject would be FAR outside of your usual drawing patterns, and thus, a chance to flex those skills in a previously unapplied direction! π

A water dragon!! But specifically an asian dragon, you know the long ones without wings!! I dont know if this is water colour friendly, but would be cool in water colours β’α΄β’
