Back to Introductions

that is to say, I am old (34), so minors DNI, tyty

I'm Cara, better known online as (m)tropy
I've floated over from spacehey on a rescue raft, as many have and do and will

in life I'm a psych student (went back to continue my education)
online, I enjoy dusting off the html/css skills I acquired during the  mesozoic  myspace era

I do not collect friends, but I do collect music, and I do send friend requests for the sole purpose of expanding my music library, whether we have anything else in common or not or will ever actually speak... please respect my auditory hustle, it's decades of discipline

in return, the value I offer is culmination of my work
I routinely update the mega list of neat bands in my blog, and I post the occasional specific playlist/song share in bulletins
if you are also a music nerd, I am likely to interact and possibly send recs wherever our tastes overlap enough that I've determined I might add value

I occasionally have a personality outside of music, which is far less interesting and important

in summation, I'm here for music
I'm here for his music, her music, their music, and your music
I'm here for the music you have now, and the music you find in future as a result of our symbiotic pursuits

give me your musiccC

& have a nice day

Ill keep the music sharing in mind when I'm not listening to things about violating open wounds.

@KILLGAZMOTRON what makes you think I don't want to listen to music about violating open wounds?

@(m)tropy fair fair. Good to know 🤪

Don't temp me, or I'll dump several hundred songs on you from the 1920s, 30s,40s, and 50s 😆

@Cranky Old Witch I consume all kinds in the hopes of enjoyment

I mean ... I am warning you.
Where would you like to start?
Raw and gritty like country, folk, blues? Or more smooth and polished like swing, jazz, showtunes? Any decade you want in particular?

I made this playlist this morning it's all about liminal spaces music (my current obsession) & you can find other ones in my Spotify if you're curious 👁️
