Where did your username come from?

Not sure if anyone has done this but I've always been curious on where everyone got their username from :P I have no idea where mine came from, I think someone called me this when I was in year 8 and I just stuck with it.

A mixup of my irl name. It starts with the letter E and then I just made up a nickname that kinda made sense.

It's a lyric from mychems most recent song Foundations of Decay. I was SOO quick because it's also my name on instagram and I just KNEW people were gonna take it. you might be quicker but quicker XD 

Ooooh, mine comes from the fact that my online personality is different than my offline personality, thus the alter ego part. Almond is just because, tbh. I don't wanna use my actual name and choosing something as random as almond was exactly what I was looking for x3

fanfiction the username i use everywhere else (not on here) actually came from creating a wattpad account with my friends in high school. there was a little period where we just wrote silly stories and left comments on each other's posts, and all of our usernames were something to do with food. i decided to make mine ''water bottle,'' but written in a silly way, and it just kind of stuck. i've had that username EVERYWHERE ever since! 

as for lillie, my friend once wrote a character that was supposed to be me and gave her that name, and i just ended up really liking it!

mines a pun off lab rat and then the first syllable of my name :P cos as a kid i was over medicated and felt like a lab rat and it rlly fucked me up

It’s a nickname my classmates gave me when I was 15-16, it stuck and that 10 years later I still use it… for better or worse. I keep wanting to change it, but for some reason I just can’t bring myself to do so.

So yeah, it seems like whether I like it or not, I’m stuck with Poble as my username on just about every platform I use. Before then I was using my real name though lol

I don't really consider my name here a username bc thats just my name (at least the one i use online), but otherwise I go by vagueshape on basically everything. I came up with it in high school because I thought it was cool and also as a way to describe how my gender felt to me!
