1. FALL OUT BOY - FORTH OF JULY

I was kinda debating between 8 and 9, simply because I think I was comparing this to some other FOB song's that I really like. FUNNY ENOUGH I'm not the biggest FOB fan in the world but i've dabbled in their songs here and there. IVE NEVER heard this one before. The intro was interesting (/pos) and I really enjoyed the break in the middle of the song. I would definitely not hit skip if it was on my playlist 

2. THE CURE - THE LOVECATS

I really like that this one sounded exactly how I though it would sound simply based on the title of the song itself HAHA, groovy cat song. It almost reminds me of like a fun old cartoon intro (especially when the piano closes it off at the end). I actually might share this w my sister I think she would like this style of song

There were multiple time's I started bouncing up and down in my bed. I just wanted to get up and start dancing. I only gave it a 9 because I have other songs saved similar to this that I would prefer to listen to over this one. PLS ANYONE LMK what style/genre of music this is. because Idk the proper name and i've been wanting to get into this style of music more because it reminds me of songs I listened to back in my childhood !!

I had never heard of this artist before. but I really REALLY FW this song heavy. something about it took me back to some simpler times. and GOD AM I A SUCKER FOR SOME GOOD GUITAR + DRUMS. thats another thing, it's not even like the craziest songs ever, the lyrics is pretty simple, repetitive in some parts but they make it work. Im fr gonna add it to my playlist immediately.

I originally had this at a 7, but I had it on loop. the longer I listened to it the more I realized I actually like the style of singing this artist went for. it feels more of a conversation accompanied by music rather than singing. I also really love the repetiveness of the guitar specifically here I think it fits really well. I was skeptical at first but I liked it a lot in the end!

2. WRAP ME IN PLASTIC - CHROMEANCE

I'm NGL I thought this was an AI generated song because, if you know what AI generated music sounds like, they tend to spew random nonsense that rhymes occasionally or DOESN'T rhyme at all. thats what the intro felt like to me for this song. I was ab to not listen to it but then the "Wrap me in plastic" part came on and I IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED THIS SONG. I DID NOT KNOW THATS HOW THIS SONG WENT. I JUST KNOW IT AS THE TIKTOK/YOUTUBE SHORTS SONG :SOB: I genuinely do not see myself listening to this song aside from that one clipped part thats relatively popular. I will say the animation that accompanies this song is really cute. otherwise IDT I would ever save this song. Id actually probably skip it simply based off the intro being the first thing I hear. 

3. THE TIDE IS HIGH - ATOMIC KITTEN

WHO ARE THESE DIVAS???? I'm like almost 100% sure i've heard this song before BUT IDK WHERE OR WHEN. Something in me clicked when I heard this song genuine flashbacks LOL. anyway, this song is like actually really fucking cute  I really enjoyed this song a lot I'm actually gonna save this song AND share it w my sister ik she would agree w/ me teehee ^^

4. GIRL AFRAID - The Smiths

It would have rated higher but it took almost a whole MINUTE to get to the singing. it kinda jumpscared me. OFC theres nothing inherently wrong with that, But also because a majority of that introduction was repetitive I genuinely thought that was the whole song until the singer finally sang something. (actually another one of The Smith's songs autoplayed as i;m writing this, another of their songs doesn't have as long of an intro and I honestly prefer that! ) But I mean, I really liked the song and the singer when it did get to it!
