where are the badges?? Closed

Yeah, it was shortly after the crybabies started sniveling and bitching, accusing Def3ct of using AI that they disappeared. I actually wish he would bring them back.

So what if they were or not? People are just going to have to get use to the fact that AI is here to stay and no matter how much crying and whining they do about people using it, it still isn't going to change it. So they may as well just get use to it and get over it. I had a chick falsely report me and had me removed from the site here a number of days ago because she got butthurt over me using AI images in making profile layouts. If you don't like it, don't use them. But you don't go falsely reporting someone and having them thrown off the site for it. So yeah, it is whining and crybabying in my books. Personally, I don't care who doesn't like it, that is a major THEM problem and not a ME problem.

These people are just using it as an ammo to simply attack FriendRewind because of the fact that FriendRewind is getting more popular compared to SpaceHey.

But so far, thankfully it seemed to somehow cooled down if they haven't gotten over it.

Yes they used the AI as ammo, but again, the point is people need to grow up and get over the AI thing period. It is here to stay, and no amount of pissing, moaning and whining is going to change that and ain't nothing you can do about it. So with that being said, they need to move on and leave those who do use it alone and mind their own business and go their own way, period. That's their problem, not the people using it.

To me I don't think that really spoils the experience here for me it was the community and how things were.

No Algorithm, No (or at least very less) Toxic Topics like Politics.

Just people being chill and organic all and all.

I think that really makes it up for me somehow.

But I hope no AI Generated Photos and Videos like pretending to be someone and fake news and stuff then that's where I'll draw the line and I don't want that here.

If you'll use it for decorating your Profile and stuff but still showing yourself and being yourself then that's fine.

Or maybe enhancing quality of Photos and videos as well.

if you’ve been reported and it still needs to be checked by a human moderator before you are kicked out. Therefore one of the mods or def3ct himself saw something wrong with your AI generated images, and it wasn’t just “whining” or “bitching”.

I just like using kinder more civil language when referring to our peers in the retroweb!! people gravitate to places like this because they miss the slow internet, no algorithm, not ridden with AI and bots…when generative AI is used it feels like it spoils the authenticity of the 2000s, I hope you’d agree!

I was excited to have a higher Forum Badge after having a Gold Community Connector Badge.

But then it was axed out around that time. :(

If it is someone else's work then I don't alter it outside of maybe enhancing the colors, adding clarity and sharpening the image. Then there are many of the images that are combinations of images from 3 or 4 different artworks combined to make new pieces and some that are completely originals. But I never take an original piece itself and alter it, I will take an element I may like and add it to a piece I am making.

@♠︎Renegade♠︎ Maybe but give the credits where it's due and not claim it's yours.

There isn't an artist tagged on any of the art so you can't give credit to something or someone when there is no name. Besides, you'll never see my name on any of the stuff whether it's my creation or not. I know what's mine and what isn't and really to be honest, it isn't really all.that important to me of what's what. A lot came from the Temu 5D Diamond Art stuff believe it or not, and there are no names on any of that stuff but looks great with their fantasy art stuff.

@SafeInSanity Not sure if you're kidding but yeah if that art piece doesn't had any credit to the person that made it then I don't know what to say about that.
