Hello!! everywhere has an awesome scene, and its hard to find the great bands in said scene if you're not there. Tell me some small bands you've seen and loved!!!
I saw Alice, sweet alice and they're great. Dim, Birdhouse., mybetterhalf, and juno togiak.. (I've been to almost every one of their shows including their first, i LOVE Juno!!) ARE ALL AWESOME!!! Trinity is great too and So is quitting time. ^_^

HAIIII my local music scene is ALLLL SKAA pretty much, the most popular being the london system by alot.... i actually know the singer n stuff so maybe im a lil biased.
some other faves are piss slugs, decibel, dont follow, skid wizard, denial, NAIVE!!!

omg i’m not good with all these subgenres but i DO know a lot of screamo very heavy emo bands in texas/dfw.. i recommend Rosasharin, Of Eden, fifteen rhema, and kiowa!!!! imo my personal favs are more pop punk/ atmospheric cool stuff like sundaybuthoursaway, mypointofyoutx, and atcitdio..
oh my god i'm from seattle too!!! juno togiak is such a great band, i recommend checking out no leaders please! if you haven't already. they're pretty new but they're blowing up rn
