I love polyphonies. If you don't know what that is, polyphony is a musical texture where two or more independent, simultaneous melodic lines play together.
You see this a lot with children shows and music created by Lin Manuel Miranda.Β
However I want to listen to non children music that incorporate this styleπ. Preferably alternative music like goth, punk, metal/rock but doesn't have to be.Β
I know this is probably pretty niche, so if you don't know any, put me on fast pace music with a sick beat β€οΈ

Obviously Bach. Especially fugues and inventions, oh, and a whole lot of the Baroque era. No beat though π But dang, you'll get polyphony alright!Β

My understanding of polyphonies maaaaaaay or may not be correct. BUT. If my understanding is correct, you may like these! Hell, even if it's not correct, you still might!

xmal deutschland, tristania, bauhaus. also, a new darkwave band came out... first i thought it must be ai garbage, but no they're actually good. mouth ulcers.
