genuinely gut wrenching when glenn died.. i had a crazy dream about him like way before he died and it was the end of the world or smth and we were at convenient store stealing shit and then we went back “home” and vigorously made out

MEMEMEMMEMMEMEEEEEEE, I only watched 5 seasons and is still planning to finish it soon but I LOVE Daryl Dixon, Dale and Carol :D
@bunnibun7 Carol is such a slow burn character arc. She's fantastic!
rick's gotta be #1 for me, without a doubt. aaand season 2 i think would be the fave for me (big fan of the personal drama all coming a perfect climax with the end).
Cliche but prob Daryl. kinda vibe with his persona in a personal way. like if i wrote that show hes already kind of like a self insert sorta.
The show itself is a mixed bag for me. Started out strong. middle seasons were seriously weak, and full of far too much fluff dialogue.
That period for a while when rick was getting real dark and uncompromising was a pick up for me, love that. then the negan arch came, that was wonderful, once that ended though i really dislike the neutering of that character, should have just fully died.
Over all i was mostly entertained, sometimes quite a bit, but also a lot of it was just a whole lot of really cringe overly emotional moralizing dialogue bullshit about the power of friendship or whatever that caused me to eyeroll so hard i could see my own fuckin prefrontal cortex.
End of the day though it was a joy of an experience i think.
I enjoyed TWD. My favorites were Carol, Eugene. Negan, and Alpha. Yes, I know. Negan and Alpha were villains for the protagonists, but I look at them from the "No one sees themselves as the Villain" POV. Plus. I love me well written villains. I also enjoyed Negan's arc.

Watched it and enjoyed it somewhat, but didn't finish.
My favorite characters were: Negan, Daryl, Simon, Eugene, Dale, Dwight.
Best seasons were those focused on Negan definitely, after that ended I didn't see much point in watching more.
While the show was relatively entertaining, it is also super illogical and the characters are so dumb it hurts. There's also a lot of side plots I didn't care about and overall too much filler, it's way longer than it needs to be imho.
