Summer 2026 Anime Season

As the seasons change, along with it changes the selection of anime that will air.
What new or currently releasing anime will everyone be watching this season? What is everyone looking forward to the most?

Here's what's on my "to watch" list.

I've been feeling really low-energy lately, so I don't really know anything about a lot of these, aside from Otome Kaiju and Ghost in the Shell
I have a friend who really likes the former, and...well, of course, everyone's excited for Ghost in the Shell. I'm hoping it's a proper adaptation of the original story, I feel like the original movie/OVA was incredibly disjointed, apparently the original manga was much more cohesive.

Patlabor EZY, And i Wil l watch the movie the second 2 maybe a couple Times more

Super hyped for Goodbye, Lara. It's getting rarer and rarer to see a completely original anime so I really hope it does well both critically and commercially! I'm glad that the summer season is less stacked than spring, it might actually give me a chance to catch up on some shows and get through my "to watch" list. 

i am so so excited for the new season of grand blue!! gonna be continuing bleach & also watching behind the supermarket smoking with you, mushoku tensei, youjo senki II, kore kaito shine and probably yani neko
