What are you're favourite TV shows from the last 35 years?
Mine are Peep Show, I'm Alan Partridge, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, The Inbetweeners, Skins (only gen 1 though, I thought gen 2 started good but series 4 was shite apart from JJ's episode), Waterloo Road is a pretty good show to just disengage to, Ghosts is great too

I love Coupling, I still watch it to this day. I also enjoyed Jonathan Creek when I was younger, and when Jekyll came out, it became an obsession. Graham Norton is fun to catch every once in a while, and I LOVED watching Ground Force, and Charlie's Garden Army. *munble mumble Sherlock, Doctor Who mumble mumble*
Ashes to Ashes was incredible, I need to finish it!
i love the royale family, the detectorists, this country, here we go, motherland, amandaland, derry girls, friday night dinner, rovers, mum, miranda and especially early doors
i love peep show, super hans is my spirit animal. the it crowd and phoenix nights can be pretty funny as well.
not a tv show, but ricky gervais' xfm show is hilarious (even if his standup is absolute dogshit).

Last thirty five, peak is Red Dwarf for me.
Also lately i remembered the strangerers from when i was a kid, and have been returning to that. (americans but i lived in Bristol England for like 7 years when i was a kid. lot of random tv i forgot but love coming across again lol)

Black Sails
Brilliant show! Prequel to the novel "Treasure Island" and you wonder, looking at the young, fresh-faced John Silver how he becomes that broken down old peg-leg villain you know from Treasure Island.
This show does great at showing that journey!
Season one starts a little slow, and has a little more sexploitation than needed, but it just rolls better and better from one season to the next.
But rather than drag on season after season (you can't do that with pirates. Not happy endings), it has four great seasons and OUT!
I think it's 38 episodes total, perfect for binge watching.
I love Sherlock, Ab Fab, and anything with David Attenborough
Not sure if it's considered British, but FATHER TED is one of my favorites of the 90s,
and the Young Ones was my favorite of the 80s.
Peep Show was my comfort show as a teenager. I haven't watched many British shows lately, but out of more modern shows Fleabag comes to mind as one I really enjoyed.
Honestly can't remember heaps of it, but I really liked Garth Marenghi's Darkplace as a teen as well
