I've been rewatching Skins lately, and I've been wondering if there are other shows out there that have the same kind of vibe... I've been told to watch Euphoria but ehhh, I want more recommendations !! It's not that I don't like Euphoria, I just want more than one show on my list :p
I’d say you’d probably like watching Shameless US if you haven’t seen that one before! Not completely the same but has that feel of dysfunctional families, messy drama, characters making crazy decisions, drugs, etc. Biggest difference is Shameless focuses more on the family unit rather than on teenagers.
skins was literally the blueprint and i dont think any teen shows can match the feeling it gives, not that they arent good, but skins has such a specific feel that cant be replicated, at least not with anything ive seen! i have a sorta similar teen drama in mind, but i dont think it would totes be what ur looking for. "Degrassi: The Next Generation" has messy drama, drugs, characters making stupid decisions, fights, death, crazy shit, but it takes a bit to build up and can be a biiit of a commitment. i will say, some parts hold a similar "what the fuck?" factor as skins, but arent rlly the same VIBE. both r rlly good in their own ways.
