🩷💜🖤 Guys I've been having like the worst addiction to this website & my sleep is soooo badddd rn (Which I like this site a lot & I don't wanna stop using it ofc) Does anyone have any good tips/suggestions to actually work on their sleep schedule?

weed.

🩷💜🖤 @Astroflash as much as I want to try at some point, my mom might burn my entire collection of playstation games & movies if I did that anywhere in her house 💔

@🔪Aida_Wandering_Online🩷💜🖤 ah ok so better don’t do it haha

🩷💜🖤 @Astroflash yeahhh lol, thanks for the suggestion tho

Cooler temperatures help me sleep or reading before bed.

Magnesium can help

of course you can buy sleeping pills but if you dont want to buy them, here are some stuff that helped me: try to stay off of any devices you have 30-60 mins b4 you sleep, listen to white noise when youre in bed and if possible turn on the ac or open a window to cool down!💕

🩷💜🖤 @brunettenpretty I don'tttt have a loud ac but I do have an extremely fast fan, I can put it onto one of the higher levels, & hopefully that can help soothe meee, thxxxx:p

Turn your wifi off like 30min before goijg to sleep! I love to make myself loose tea for sleeping or warm up milk, both really helps me to get good sleep and feeling refreshed in the morning no matter how long I slept. If you dont know what to do 30min before sleeping whole drinking tea/milk maybe read or do anything that doesnt require screen (no tv as well), or maybe stretch before sleep! ❤️ Take warm shower or if its hot cold shower to not be so sweaty and hot before goijg to sleep

This helped me a lot when I suffered from sleep paralysis back then and helps me still now, hope it helps too

melatonin gummies always knock me out, but if not, asmr really helps me sleep ngl. It doesn’t work on everyone but it gets me really relaxed and tingly, which makes it the perfect sound to fall asleep to. It works every time in my experience

🩷💜🖤 @drewy bear omg I've been meaning to get into listening to asmr, this would be the perfect time to do soooo, thank youuuu!!!

As a person who also struggles with sleeps here are some of my tips and tricks

  • Be active during the day, go out for a walk or anything that gets your body going and requires some rest. Don't go all out and hurt yourself but just do something that makes your body require rest.
  • Stop doomscrolling/being engaging online whenever you are ready to sleep. If you require your phone to fall asleep, read articles/books, or watch very unstimulating videos on YouTube or shows. I heard a lot of people will watch futurama to sleep! I normally watch video essays, deep dives, and iceberg videos.
  • During the day do not go lay in your bed. Only go to your bed whenever you are ready for sleep. I don't know where I read this or the reasoning behind it. But it helped my body realize bed is for sleep.
  • Me personally I do not eat before bed. If I go to bed between 930-10 (I'm old sorry lol) I stop eatting or drinking coffee at 8. That being said do not drink energy drinks past a certain time.
  • I also take a warm shower or a warm bath before bed and that honestly helps my body relax
  • One more one more! This is my aunts trick. Count just shut your eyes and count. 🤷‍♂️ the second you get distracted start again.

I know these are a lot and I'm sorry! But I hope this helps!

🩷💜🖤 @Vodkuh omg the eating before bed thing is my biggestttt issue, I tend to love snacking, it's one of the first oldest habits I've had even after losing 72 pounds. And that's the crazy thing abt yesterday, I did do a ton of activity lol, I literally went to the gym, worked out my upper body & I still didn't feel tired enough to sleep but I loveeee video essays, particularly ones on horror series/analog horror deep dives, those are always nice so I might try using some of these, thank youuu!!! <3

i try to listen to calming music so i can sleep quicklyy. also try to not take naps during the day and maybe drink smthn warm before bed so u can feel calm :D hope ur sleeping schedule gets fixed :')

  • Turn off electronics 30 minutes before bed. Keep them in airplane mode. This takes a lot of self-control. You can use them for quiet music and your alarm in the morning.
  • Use lower/dimmer lighting for 30 minutes before bed.
  • Do an activity that is calming for the nervous system, such as journaling, coloring, playing with cards, etc. during this time.
  • Stretch.
✨💖✨✌️✨

My tips are to obviously try not to consume caffeine before bedtime OBVIOUSLY. Some more are like don't look at your phone for at least 10 minutes after you wake up, use dim lighting during the evening, and drinking warm milk!

Sometimes, even very cold showers help because you feel SO GOOD afterwards when you get in your jammies for bed lol.

Hope this helps!🦨
