shadowbliss's Interests

General	I like to keep an open mind to a bit of everything. I might need some explanation if its a subject I've never really talked about before but it will be there.
Music	The way I describe my taste in music is "a lot of people say 'I like a bit of everything,' I just happen to be right." I know that sounds a bit arrogant but seriously, my collection goes from Kate Miller-Heidke to Merzbow. There isn't any genre I won't try listening to and find something I like in it.
Movies	The films of Derek Jarman, Sally Potter, Maya Deren and John Cameron Mitchell are pretty good. I do like more accessible movies on occasion but when I was a filmmaker, those three were who I took the most inspiration from.
Television	Orphan Black, Twin Peaks, Lost Girl, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sense8, The OA, Killjoys, Paranoia Agent.
Books	The Complete Works of Sarah Kane, Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams, Let The Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist, Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell,

I'm a big fan of alternative culture, I'm a Transfem and I'm interested in less competitive social media which is why I'm here.

I used to make art but frankly don't have my heart in it as much as I used to. I made films, music, painting and photography. I still occasionally write out some music. I devoted so much time to it that I'm trying to find something new for me to invest time into. At the moment I'm actually trying to become a librarian.
