About Malice Mizer

         

            Formed in August 1992 by guitarists Mana and Közi, MALICE MIZER stands as one of the most influential Visual Kei bands in Japanese music history. Their name was extracted from the phrase "Malice et Misère" (French for "malice and mizery. The core existential question: "What is a human being?"

         

         

            Throughout their history, the band evolved across three main lineup eras defined by their vocalists—Tetsu, Gackt, and Klaha—blending gothic rock, classical polyphony, synthpop, and elaborate stage theater.
