psychosmiley's Interests

General

Hey, I'm Brayn Parker — 21, and living life a few steps off the university track. I'm deep into a professional qualification I'll keep under wraps for now (mystery's part of the charm, right?).

Photography's my everyday obsession — not the posed, perfect kind, just catching real moments as they happen. Give me a camera and a random street and I'm gone for hours.

When I'm not doing that, I'm probably deep in a battle royale — COD Mobile, PUBG, Roblox, you name it, I'm dropping in. I've also got this restless energy that won't quit — I walk, I run, I just move, for no reason other than it feels good. Football's non-negotiable too — I barely miss a day.

Oh, and I speak 5 languages, and can read/understand 8 more. Still figuring out how many more thoughts fit in my head — this page is a work in progress, just like me

Music

Music's mood-dependent for me — no fixed genre, just whatever matches the headspace I'm in. Linkin Park's my constant though, my favorite band, hands down — "Faint" and "Numb" are the two I always end up back at, no matter how long I've been away.

Radiohead's the newer obsession, and "Let Down" hit different enough to earn a permanent spot in the rotation. The Smiths are in there too — "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" specifically, that one just stays with you.And then there's Katy Perry — "The One That Got Away" in particular. Her vocals on that track are next level, the kind that make you want to scream along instead of just listen.
Outside of bands, I've got a soft spot for songs in other languages too — ones I actually understand, not just vibe to. And "Somebody's Me" is one of those tracks that lives entirely on its own, no band attached, just stays in the loop regardless.
Rock, alt, pop when it earns it — my playlist's basically a mood ring at this point.

Movies

Movies are where I go for the ones nobody else really watched — the underrated, slept-on kind that never got the attention they deserved. 500 Days of Summer, All the Bright Places, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Love and Other Drugs, One Day, Into the Wild — that's the core of it, films that sit with you a while after the credits roll, not just background noise.

Beyond that, yeah, I've watched every Marvel movie there is — that's just baseline. And honestly the full list goes way beyond what I can type out here. If you're into movies too, hit me up, I could talk about this for hours.

Television

Books

i love reading. even though my own studies keeps me buried under textbooks most of the year, i still make time for books that have nothing to do with exams. i usually read while traveling, on long drives, or during holidays. i'm mostly drawn to philosophy, psychology, history, politics, and novels that leave you thinking long after you've finished them.
some of the books i've read include It Ends With Us, Animal Farm, 1984, Beyond Good and Evil, The Birth of Tragedy, Human, All Too Human, The Gay Science ("God is dead" comes from this one), Notes from Underground, War and Peace, and many books in other languages that most people here probably haven't heard of.
i don't really read just for entertainment. i like books that challenge my beliefs, make me question people, society, morality, and myself. i enjoy different perspectives, even when i don't agree with them, because i think every good book should either teach you something or change the way you see the world.

Heroes

My MOM is my hero, she's the most perfect and powerful super hero with having any extra ordinary powers.

Games

I play battle royal games mostly, such as PUBG, COD mobile, Farlight84, Roblox, etc, but now I'm kinda getting away from it and shifting more into practical life and sports

Which specific dialect of arabic are you trying to learn?

I'm trying to the Levantine di elect, the one spoken in Lebanon and Palestine and Syria, it's just a bit soft and easy to learn,
