listing it out feels reductive. i spend most of my time writing abt my life, working on this novel that ive got pretty much finished up on the latest version, studying abt latin american history, playing around on ableton and doing anything to put to use a couple of foreign languages i invest my time on. at the moment, french spanish and mandarin, but if i find the right material i'd also do croatian.

rn im listening to easy by smerz. not exactly my thing actually but yeah. joao gilberto isnt so bad.

jst finished up cien anos de soledad in netflix, it got me surprised at how well adapted it was. my letterboxd list of favorites is the following:

the dreamers, bertolucci

dancer in the dark and europa, both by lars von trier

sao paulo incorporated, person

so long my son, wang

un mundo misterioso, rodrigo

love after music, the documentary on fito paez

la cineaga, martel

though el arrebato from zulueta stuck to my mind like a gum, and ive been thinking on putting that one in too.

no

dreadfully reading sylvia plath. hermann hesse is good tho. ive read most of kafka and camus, but its not cool anymore, not in the way it was when i did it. and i have no unique take on any of them. all my friends have read dostoyevsky, which i havent and dont plan to do, but i can hold up a conversation abt it.

ppl who have rejected me. think abt them more than i think abt my own future.

nope.
