as a teenager I 100% get why adult spaces exist and to stay out of them but that goes both ways.

I know common reasons why adults don't interact with minors, most common reason finding it weird, and it's easier for me to understand that too as I've had people try to be friends with me irl and on online platforms who are younger than 10 and our age gap is just too far apart for me to like really even like them enough to be friends, not the same thing but I feel it's similar. I obviously don't interact with adults who say they don't want minors interacting with them as I respect boundaries.

I haven't seen any examples of any of this stuff on friendrewind (yet), but if you're gonna post adult stuff please actually put it in online spaces??

like I use bluesky, an app like everyone knows is 13+, and yet my feed is full of NSFW furry roleplayers or whatever posting their kinks in detail with no warnings attached, bluesky should at least have a under 18 filter or something but it doesn't. Those type of NSFW bluesky posters gen piss me off so much because like it's not an adult only app, a large part being minors actually, and those ppl still proceed to click post.

and also side story, I remember one day when I was like 7 or 8 playing Animal Jam Classic, idk what I was doing, but then someone came up to me, started calling me a kid and was bullying me for being a kid. Dude it is literally a kids platform?? A place intended to be a safe social game for children???

I don't really use social media, I watch youtube videos I guess, rarely watch shorts though. I made an account on here just to socialise because sometimes I still feel lonely. I post some of my random art on Pinterest even tho I do not at all consider myself a good artist just to have it out there. I used to use tiktok it was awful things had genuinely been so much better since I stopped using that hellhole of a corny copy n paste reaction gif / insults app if you think social media is doing you more harm than good I definitely WOULD recommend reducing your usage or quitting said app altogether, especially for younger people, tiktok was a lot worse when I was younger in terms of how it impacted me.
