I also miss the psychward

Report

I honestly understand this more than I can explain. I think a lot of people don’t realize that sometimes a place like that can feel comforting because, for once, you’re surrounded by people who just get it. You don’t have to pretend everything is fine or worry about being judged, you can just exist and be yourself.

And I think it makes sense that you miss the little things too, eating together, having a routine, meeting people every day, laughing over random stuff. It sounds like those people gave you a feeling of belonging that you’ve really been missing.

But reading this also made me sad because it sounds like you’re blaming yourself for wanting that comfort. You’re not a “punk” for struggling or for missing a place where you felt safe. Wanting support, connection, and people who understand you is a very human thing.

I hope u can find pieces of that feeling outside the hospital too, people you can be yourself around, routines that make you feel grounded, and places where you don’t have to carry everything alone. Also, the way you remember everyone u met there says a lot about how much those connections meant to u <33

they did mean alot to me
