Oh, I’m so sorry. :( Honestly, I can completely understand why that hit you so hard. There’s something so powerful about memories connected to senses, especially smell. It can bring back feelings and emotions in a way that words or pictures sometimes can’t. If you cry later, let yourself cry. Sometimes those moments hurt because they mean so much. I hope that hoodie can bring you some comfort too, like a little piece of him that you can keep with you.
