Loved this post! I’ll be honest, I thought I had caught most of the easter eggs while watching the movie… turns out I wasn’t even close. The Voyager Golden Record detail completely flew over my head, and the Julien Reverchon reference is such a cool catch omg My favorite has to be the recreation of the original 2019 Backrooms image. It only lasts a moment, but seeing that iconic angle referenced in the movie is such a nice touch for longtime fans. The Ivan Beck credit also got a laugh out of me, that’s exactly the kind of nerdy detail i love spotting It’s really impressive how many connections they managed to sneak in from the found footage videos without making them feel forced. Reading this honestly makes me wanna go back and watch the movie again just to see how many more details i missed Awesome work as always, River! Thanks for feeding our inner Backrooms detectives |
