I understand your thinking. I feel like that a lot of the time. Every person is different and have different reasons but I went through a lot in my childhood that stunted my mental growth but also physically I look younger because I was locked inside for a lot of the time and didn't have "life" written on my physical being. I am old in my opinion (39) and get told constantly that I don't look it. That I look in my 20's. Because I didn't get to enjoy my childhood being in a constant state of fear and anxiety that I missed out on a lot, I exhibit joy and "play" and hang out with friends and have a "job" versus a career because I too find adult life boring and I don't want to sit behind a desk. I still rollerblade, and I dress like someone much older with t-shirts, flannels, sneakers. I will never ever let anyone make me feel like I have to "act" a certain age. We are all ages at any time we want to be. Be free! Be You! Play, laugh, skip, even when the masses look at you like you're out of your mind. Better too be too busy laughing, then too busy working an extra hour for a few extra dollars when you could have been outside breathing in the fresh air, seeing a butterfly float on by, or the clouds to form little shapes and animals. Life is ours and it's okay. I love that you go to the skatepark and just enjoy it again and again. Ain't no reason for that feeling to end. Keep doing that for you and there will never be anything wrong with it or you!

Maybe creepy but I totally get it. People assuming I'm younger than I actual am when we're speaking about stuff I like feels like a punch in the guts, cause then it's so embarrassing to tell them "hehe, no, I'm not 16/17/18 I'm actually 22" like... UGHHH makes me feel so fucking dumb. 

I believe this is a societal problem. Older people wants us to feel like once you're 18 you have to be this serious responsible person that can't enjoy ANYTHING at all. I think that the only thing we can do is embrace our age and the stuff we like. 

Be ourselves. So what if we're older than the average fan of XYZ thing?? doesn't matter at all. If people want to see you in a certain way there's nothing you can do to change their minds, so; why should we even care?? fuck those people who believe we're too old to be enjoying certain stuff. Let's live life freely, withouth being too hard on ourselves
