Good afternoon!
Today I went for a short trail ride and the weather was lovely, but it made me realize that summer is coming to an end and that autumn is slowly creeping up on us.
I tried the bitless bridle today and it went better than expected. I don't know what I expected really, but she listened so well.
It feels really nice to have such a calm horse, compared to the one I had before. My old horse was (and probably still is) a rocket with so much energy. I sent her to my parent's when I got pregnant because I didn't really feel safe riding her then. After two years of not having horses in my life, during pregnancy and post partum, I decided it was time and my mom offered me one of hers. Avril was born in our family, we still own her mother, and I was there when she was born 16 years ago. So, we basically grew up together. And why her name? 15 year old emo/scene-me was a huge fan of Avril Lavigne and the horse is also born in April, lol.

The weather there and the scenery around there looked very good and relaxing.

I'm not really feeling the autumn vibez but I'm looking 4ward 2 it cuz I'll b able 2 wear my fav sk8r beanie free of comments regarding it being inappropriate for the current temperatures yay!
I also agree that Avril Lavigne is gr8, I have sum of her CDs and itz a pretty good name 4 a horse!
Ahhh, the beanie! I always wore a beanie when I was in my teens, and to me it didn't matter what temperature. My beanie was a part of me. Lol.

I also feel like it's a big part of me but I wear it secretly cuz my parents think it's too much of an overkill, soz 4 decor8ing my beanie cuz thats like the coolest thing to look decr8ed lulz
