had to go to the gp because my insides have been dying for days... rip museum trip... only for it to be ACID REFLUX? AT 19? how do old people deal with this oh my lord. tomottow i'll be accompanying my mom to the hospital for her issues so that's #fun. getting through beloved and i love it so far, and bought The Yellow Wallpaper for my next read!!

Hope things get better for you and your mother soon. I'm the same age and a few years back, I went to the doctors for bowel problems and was convinced I had crohns or ulcerative colitis only to be told I was literally full of shit (bowel obstruction/blockage). Got given medication for it and ended up fine though 😭 I usually associate that with older people. Did they recommend any meds for you to take to get through the acid reflux?
Also your profile is very cool. I'm a big supernatural creature fan as well and I love making different ocs that are different creatures, either creatures from pop culture/myth or entirely original ones. My pfp is my oc Carole who is a Transidianide, one of my original species!
Also so cool to see another UK person here as well. I'm Scottish :3 also a language learner but I've lapsed a little lol, I was learning German and Mandarin a few months ago, I really want to get back into them both tbh.

omg so glad to see someone relate with the health issues... i'm always paranoid, thinking i have some mysterious unresearched illness only for it to be basic LOLL i'm very grateful, and yes they gave me meds! i'm glad your situation ended up fine too, people take healthy bodies for granted these days so i'm trying to appreciate it when i can!
and thanks for the compliment! i'm totally stalking yours after this and i'd love to hear more about your oc! i keep trying to make supernatural ones but i keep lapsing into sci-fi or reasonable explanations for their powers because i'll drive myself crzy if i just make it come up out of thin air... but i'm trying to let loose a little ^^;.
and omg scottish! i've been to scotland a couple times and i've only had great experiences, esp on st. patrick's day- SUPER LIVELY!! and ugh language learning is so fun when you actually stick to it and feel the progress... i've been lagging behind too xc. best of luck deciding what to learn, i had a bit of a manderin phase but it was waaaay out of my league... and don't worry about the yap!! i never thought anyone would see my blog, let alone reply xD even a bit of interaction goes a long way. hoping you've had a great day so far!

omg first of all OFC WE CAN BE FRIENDS! i've had the same experience here, a lot of people make accs for the aesthetic which isn't a problem, i miss older formats and stuff too, but then they ditch them and it becomes a ghost town!!
and making character profiles on here is genius.. you can just dump all the info into one space 🙌 i try to use websites and stuff to write lore but i always have to pay for some sort of premium, and the notes app on my laptop is totally messed up xc. i think you should do it!
and you're so right it's refreshing to actually have a comment come in, people want a community or friend group but they're too scared to comment! like when's the last time someone actually got mad or upset at a genuine interaction, esp on here? i'm glad you commented on some random blog / diary entry, bc interactions like this honestly make my day ^^ i'll add you now!
