Long time, no see

Hey everyone!I hope everyone is doing amazing. I haven't been active here for a while now, not that I thank anyone has missed me. 😅Life has just been very busy. The season's changing and we're on our way to autumn. In some ways I will miss summer, but I also feel like autumn is the ultimate cozy season. There's certainly something special about sunny autumn days. I can't really shake the feeling of feeling like the times we're living in is too stressful and too difficult. I can only speak for myself, but I feel like I miss the times where stuff was easier in many ways...? In a lot of ways we have gone forward, but what I mean is how we're constantly aiming for everything to be "easy". I think a lot of people will agree with me when I say that I dislike AI, that technology can't replace humans etc etc. But I'm genuinely scared of where we're going. I feel like people can't "think for themselves" anymore, I feel like kids can't be entertained unless it's by a screen, the constant need of being online, the constant need of being reachable etc etc. I just want to get rid of all that stress. Since deleting Facebook and TikTok I feel more at peace. I actually don't miss it at all, but it feels boring to feel lonely in a room full of people who are glued to their phones, doom scrolling. I do still have Instagram, but I rarely use it, but whenever I do, I always feel kind of sad over the fact that I almost never see any of my friend's updates. 1. People rarely post updates anymore. 2. If they do, it will disappear among all of the "recommended for you"-shit. Most of my friend update their stories, but I will never get used to "stories". I don't really get the point of stories? Maybe I'm too old, or too stupid. As usual, I don't really know what I want to say with this. I just miss a time we're not living in anymore.

I understand the things you are talking about. People are no longer present but in their phones. I don't use AI, Tik Tok, but I have snapchat, IG, and I reach out to a few close friends to send memes, makes plans, send back and forth pet pics. You may feel alone right now but you're a person who genuinely seeks connection and people are disconnected. Stay strong because the right people will notice and pretty soon the rest will follow suit. We need less screen time, and more play time. We need to bring back places that encouraged social interaction. People need people. People don't need social media.

Yeah, it's been a while now and I actually kinda forgot about you though I really missed you. XD

I do agree, I remember a few years during Pandemic I would often be with my friends here in where I live and I'd be hanging out with them but they'd be often playing on their phones and I'd be Just sitting around staring at them because I don't really play what they're playing. LOL XD

But it's not always, i do get to hang around with them and do all kinds of stuff.
