Am I doing right?

At my first evaluation of the semester I did really bad. Anatomy II is the name of the course. And believe me, is way more scary than it looks, especially Neuroanatomy. I’m not doing the “being a med student sucks”, I know how privileged I am. But it doesn’t exclude my struggle. I have a hard time memorizing anatomy pieces…

If you read my profile info, already know I have ADHD and Anxiety Disorder. These conditions do not really help in the academic field. Although the parameters are the same for me, I must be more determined and persistent. And I don’t really feel like “enough” to beat that course. Everyone is struggling at the course, but I feel this weight on me that puts me on dark place.

I’m deciding if I put Anatomy II on hold this semester. It’s a lot to digest, I have 4 projects to execute and other courses that claims my effort full time.

Anyway, thanks for reading my “outburst”

hello there twin!!

i'm just an outsider to your routine and thus may not be the best one to talk, but i believe you shouldn't think of yourself like that [not being enough]. i mean, you're doing the best you can despite your difficulties and not only that but you're also pushing yourself to be EVEN MORE determined and persistent. in my opinion, that's more than being enough :].

study at your pace, digest everything in the best way you can. you're studying med and yet you seem to be forgetting to treat yourself well. you're amazing for doing 4 projects and other courses at the same time. you're amazing for, despite struggling, still feel like you can be better. honestly, what an amazing doctor you already are!

Thank you <3
