I'm okay with people who identify with most political/economic ideologies, idrc about that by itself. What I care about is one's moral beliefs (which does have it's correlation with politics, however a person's political ideology doesn't say what exactly their morals are so it can really depend).
when I say "political ideology" btw, I'm referring to groups like communists, capitalists, anarchists, etc that type of stuff.
BUT. Some "Political opinions" are straight up inexcusable. like, what would've happened in one's life to make them think Trump is a good president?? The man who has committed horrendous crimes and like half of his proposed laws are human rights violations??
The other day I was on X / Twitter (I was sent a post on discord I don't use it, I don't like Elon either), the post under that was a One Nation supporter.. Like...???? I'm someone of several minorities and my family relies on Medicare and NDIS, Medicare covers my mum's checkups and medications because she has type two diabetes and schizophrenia. NDIS also covers my psychologist appointments which is really expensive without it. I'd like my family to remain stable and also keep my rights as someone of several minorities thank you very much.
I'm generally left-leaning I guess, I don't identify with any specific political ideology though. The bare minimum what I want in society is for people to learn not to be jerks (no discrimination, lashing out, y'all prob get what I mean) and just be progressing in a way that is beneficial for everyone regardless of who they are & where they're from. Idk how that would be accomplished, it's just a wish.

I argue that someones politics is directly tied to your moral beliefs, if they are inconsistent then you dont know exactly what you believe in, and are sort of a larper. Political beliefs are not a De facto personality morality identifier but they do provide a lot of insight into how someone thinks and if they are lowkey a dickhead or worse (fascist). A rule of thumb is to give people the benefit of the doubt most times and see what they think about certain stuff.

FOR REAL I'm a queer kid and my mom is disabled and what trump is trying to do is UNACCEPTABLE. and what he has done for that matter. I would consider myself on the liberal side but idrc I don't like saying what side I'm on bc im not super into politics and stuff but I can say that I'm not republican or conservative
dude I'm so sorry for you like luckily I'm Australian and besides our government passing dumb bills that work like a gate without a fence our lives are still fairly livable I honestly did feel bad for ppl in the US when I found out he was re-elected
