First Reading Homestuck And My Disconnection

First Time Reading Homestuck Especially In The Big '26 Is Weird As Hell. I've Known Of It's Existence For A While Now And Every Now And Then Within That Time I Would Just Larp Homestuck Without Actually Having Read Any Of It, Mostly Just A Bunch Of Jade PFPs Since A Few Friends At The Time Told Me I Was Like Her, I Didn't Know Much Of Her Character But I Was Also Mostly Just Happy That My Buddies Thought Of Me As This Supposedly Sweet And Kind Girl ( She Is In The Comic Heehee ), But It Never Genuinely Pushed Me To Read The Damn Thing Yet. 

It Would Go On Like This Until I Started My Fuckass Kanaya Typing Quirk Which I Used To Use Ironically Before Well .It Just Became My Usual Way Of Typing Now... I Only Ever Developed This Quirk Since I Mistakenly Used Eridans Typing Quirks With Those Annoying Double Ws And Vs To Which My Buddy Proceeded To Point And Laugh At Me About My Slip Up Calling Me That Glubbin Freak ( Eridan ). Eventually I Landed On Talking Like Kanaya Wth Her Capitalizations On Everything.. It Was Supposed To Be Ironic But It Shifted Into It Being My Usual Speech Patten Now Through Text. I Was Very Aware Of Her Existence Though ( Kanaya ) And Had Her As My PFP For A Bit To Keep The Bit Going Which... You Know How That Turned Out.

Still, This Did Not Push Me To Read The Comic. It Was Only After I Was Stripped Of My Control Of My Life Did I Actually Start Reading It Perhaps In The Near Middle-End Of This Year. It Was Fun. I Really Loved Reading Through It Though I Did Skip The First Intermission.. I'll Get To It, I Really Didn't Like Being Kerfuffled Away From The Main Story At The Time Though, Anyway Side Tangent Over, Sorry. There's Something Telling About Only Reading Homestuck When I Do Not Own Much Social Media Anymore Since I Do Believe That Homestuck Is A.. Very Niche Internet Thing Still Despite All This Time, Generally Because Of How Hard It Is To Get Into What With How Thick This Thing Is..

Anyhoof, Since Reading It ( And Still CURRENTLY Reading It ) I Feel A Huge Dissonance Or However You Spell That Word Towards The Fandom And It's Fan Works. I Go Onto YouTube And Half The Videos On Homestuck Are Years Ago. Comic Dubs, Animation Memes, Fan Art, Whatever. It's So Strange To See Since This Comic Is.. Old, To Put It Bluntly. There's So Much Fan Creations Of It, So Much People I Could Have Met, So Many Bad Things That Happened, So So So Many Years Ago. If I Had Gotten Into It Any Earlier Maybe I Would've Met These People, This Thing Was.. Huge From What I Can Tell. 

It Is Just So Weird To See Only Just Getting Into It. Part Of Me Wished I Could Have Been Around That Time Or Just Read It A Bit Earlier But I Also Am Aware That Time Wasn't All Cupcakes And Rainbows. But Still I Feel The Inkling Of Regret? Of Not Getting Into It Earlier... I Wish I Couldve Experienced It Is All. Time Is Weird That Way. 

I Still Love Homestuck Obviously, These Past Few Acts Have Been Really Good, Especially The Part When John God Tiered, That's Probably My Favourite Moment In The Comic Ever, Besides Of Course When Kanaya Kicked Everyone's Ass Which I Am Extremely Proud Of Her For. I've Also Been Roleplaying As Equius Zahhak ( Sadly ) On Pesterchum So At Least That's One Way Of Being Able To Connect With Other Like-Minded Individuals, So I Don't Feel Too Much Like A Black Sheep As I Do.
