yesterday I had this itch that I forgot something before during and AFTER packing and I finally (the next morning after) thought of what it was. I don't have a single pair of socks, when on my last trip I packed an absurd amount.
I have tights BUT I ALREADY WORE TIGHTS YESTERDAY and I am not the one to repeat a look in a row. I'm not going to wear my shoes without socks LIKE A FREAK so I'll have to buy some sometime today...🤔 I prefer knee high but I can't be picky now.
I would also get stockings but the clothing in this town is so conservative it kills me😭 I got a lot of looks yesterday for what I was wearing but in my defence it was hot and I looked so banging. that's all I have to say for now goobye

NOOOO!!!forgetting socks is genuinely one of the worst packing mistakes because you don't realize how important they are until you're already there. It's always the smallest things that somehow become the biggest problem.
Also I completely understand the shoes without socks thing. I could never. The feeling alone would drive me insane, so honestly tights are the emergency solution we all need sometimes.
And honestly?? I love that you were confident with your outfit even if people were giving you looks. Some places are just way too conservative about clothes, and it's so annoying when people act like someone wearing something different is a big event. If you felt good and you looked amazing, that's literally what matters.
Hopefully you find some nice knee-high socks soon though!! May the sock gods bless your shopping trip
Also now I'm curious about the outfit that caused such a reaction because "I looked so banging" sounds like there was a whole fashion moment happening there
to be fair the shirt I was wearing was very breezy and scrappy and I didn't exactly have a bra on so😅😅😅 I did have a zip up tho so it wasn't TOO crazy hbsjbagh.
I have so many pairs of longer socks at home that I'm appalled I even forgot them at all. socks are so important for my outfits and I packed very lightly for the summer weather!😙
I'm on the lookout for cute clothes while I'm out so hopefully I strike gold😋😋 the thrift nearby is open tomorrow so I'll have a lookie there :D
