I just realized my friend had a HUGE crush on me

So when I was 15, my mom introduced me to this girl, we'll call her abby, who was 12. She came over and we hung out. I asked how old she was to make conversation even though I already knew but she told me she was 13. I was confused but I didn't call her out on it cause for all I knew my mom could've been wrong (spoiler alert: she wasn't). So we're chilling, at some point she climbs in my lap, but I didn't really think anything of it bc I sit like that with a lot of my friends. 

Fast forward to about a couple months to a year later, abby comes back and she and my sister decided to watch Twilight. Keep in mind, by this time I had gotten over my "hating" Twilight phase, but I was determined to read the books first so I decided to go to my room so I didn't get any spoilers (even tho peak Twilight era was LONG gone and spoilers barely counted as spoilers anymore cause I'd already heard the major plot. points). She seemed a little off when she left but I didn't think anything of that either.

Fast forward again to a few months ago. I was hired to babysit abby's little brother, so I went to his house to pick him up and she had to come out to confirm with her grandma that I was the right person. So abby comes out of her room and she's REALLY awkward around me which I didn't expect cause at this point we've been texting back and forth periodically and are still friends. But nevertheless i grabbed her brother, took him where we needed to go, brought him back, and haven't seen her since.

Fast forward one more time to today. I'm driving and randomly think of abby and all our interactions. I messaged her and we got to talking. She admitted she thought I hated her, which was far from the truth, but suddenly everything clicked with how she acted towards me after Twilight. She must've thought me avoiding spoilers was me avoiding her. So I assure her I didn't hate her and in doing so I mention I still have the playlist she made me a few years ago after i posted something about someone making me a playlist. So this prompts me to go look for the playlist and all of a sudden it hits me. The girl was head over heels in love with me. I mean that part I already knew, but what I didn't know (bc I'm stupid) was that the playlist was meant to be her confession and was in fact a love playlist dedicated to me.
