I thin I might be starting to get panic attacks but I can't tell cause nobody around me has had one, as far as I know. The first time it happened I was on the toilet and I just all of the sudden felt super shaky and then felt like I couldn't breathe. It kinda felt like I was gonna die but it went away pretty quickly cause I just ignored it and went about my business. The second time was at one of my softball games. I think it started when we were playing defense and I was hind catching cause I did feel like I couldn't breathe properly but i just ignored it again but when we were playing offense and I was running bases, I got all the way to third before I really started feeling like I couldn't breath properly. I kinda had a feeling that it might be a panic attack but I didn't know if it was that or I was just out of breath from running and just focusing on it harder than usual cause I was worried I might have a panic attack. Anyways, I was on third for about five minutes I think, I can't really remember cause I wasn't fully paying attention, but after a few minutes I suddenly got that weird feeling before you cry even though I had no reason to cry and then it started getting harder to breathe and my chest felt like it was getting heavier, almost like someone had placed a weight on my chest. I was able to steal home not to long after but when I started walking back to the dugout it got even worse and I really felt like I couldn't breathe, which was kinda the consequence of my own actions cause if I was having a panic attack I don't think sprinting was a very good idea. Again, this one didn't last very long but I did feel like crap for like twenty minutes after that. Okay, I think that's it for now. If you have ever had a panic attack, please tell me if these sound like I'm having them or not. Not knowing what is happening is driving me crazy and also making me question if I'm dying or not, which isn't very fun.

I'll be honest it's hard to tell if it's a panic attack or anxiety attack, but I have linked some sources that detail the difference between a panic attack and an anxiety attack.Â
I will say, if you feel that you are having these frequently, please reach out to a trusted adult or professional. It is important to get help when feeling this way and it is important that you get treatment. This isn't life ending, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and you can be treated for this. If you can, please reach out to a parent, teacher, family friend, school counselor, etc.Â
Sending you positive vibes and wishing you all the best!
