Idoliazing people is inhumane

Idolizing people is inhumane and strips them from having that space to actually act human. When you idolize someone, you put them on a pedestal in your head: they can do no wrong. When people who have many fans do something wrong there fans either ask them to apologize and take accountability for it or they completely dismiss it because they give them no space to do wrong in their minds and that is so inhumane to me. They dehumanize that person first by stripping away their ability to do wrong and you don't see them as this complex being but rather a character that you made in your head. This is why "branding" is stupid. You're putting a certain limit on a person so that they can be the one digestible thing that everyone can appreciate and replicate. They give them no room to experiment with a different style or at least switch it up. Its like creating someone into a fictional character that can be easily emulated. And as soon as they do something different to themselves all of a sudden people make conspiracy theories and have opinions on it. That is so strange. "Now that you don't look like how your team created you to be then how am I supposed to keep that image I created of you in my head? You bastard! you tricked me!"

Anyways the moral of the rant is that idolizing a human being is stupid. Their incredibly capable of the same things you're capable of and they eat and shit just like you.

you can say the same thing for people who stan public figures and go after anyone that don't like them (even if they are a great human being)

Well, yeah I do agree with you on this.....

At the end of the day we're just all people and I think we're not higher than than one another.

If you admire someone for what they do then that's fine, just don't go beyond that and idolize them and think they can't do wrong and go as far as like you said on this rant.

people being higher than one another is just a social construct

they came up with roles to indicate who you were in society and what you could bring to the country you're from

but anatomically or in the face of judgement (if you're religious) or death, we're all equal nonetheless

I do agree with you on the social construct thing @blvkmoon but I mean we're equal because we're human anyways and we'll grow old then face the inevitable.

3rd blog of yours I reply to, but I feel in the mood for it!

I think that idolizing a person/people is a bad thing since their ideas and views can convolute your own personal growth

when you're growing, you're prone to develop various views on the world, people or other stuff and form opinions about things you encounter in your life

but when you start idolizing people and doing in-depth investigations of what they adhered to and standed by, you get overwhelmed with their views and start questioning if they're whether right or not, if you should think like them or make your own conclusion

plus I never got the idea of liking someone you're not in any form of relation THAT MUCH
