If I hear the word larper one more time...

I'm genuinely going to crashout. Most of the time the people who get called larpers are not even actual larpers, like as in someone who's pretending to be fan of something just because it's hyped but they don't really know what the thing is about. I do know larp's original meaning is different, but that's what people mean when they say it. 

You will genuinely be called a larper if for example you listen to a few musics from a certain artist and you like them, so you say you like the way this creator makes music, just because you didn't listen to their entire albums and or you don't their entire biography or the true meanings behind their songs. Like I just liked the music bruh I can like it or be a fan of that type of music.

Even worse is that when you actually do all that, now you are upgraded from larper to obsessed fan, and people still hate you and rage about it. To be honest being an obsessed fan is way worse than being a larper. But like it's not as bad as make it sound like.

For example in my general interests I have written gothic stuff, and I bet there'll be someone who'll ask me about I don't know all the reasons and beliefs behind gothic idealogies and ask me if I have that style like accurately, and if I say no I will be a larper. I'm genuinely interested in seeing gothic aesthetics and stuff and I am interested in learning more about it, or talk about, it doesn't mean that I am a hardcore super fan who has listened to every gothic music ever and knowa the entire history. It means that if I see or hear about something gothic related I will show interest, that is not larping that is just me being interesed but not a big fan. Just because I say I like something doesn't mean I have to be the biggest fan or have every knowledge about it. 

And even worse some of these people are the kind to tell you "let people enjoy things" if you call something cringe, but if you dare like something but not know enough about it you're a larper and it's a worse crime than murder apparantely and you deserve to get bullied. LIKE LET PEOPLE ENJOY THINGS just like you said so.

I don't know like if they can talk about how much "larping" pisses them off then I can talk about how that behavior of calling people larpers for no reason and or bullying them as if they deserve it pisses me off.

Like can someone explain to me how is it so bad even if they are genuinely larping? What is bad about it? Maybe then I understand why people are so hateful of it. I guess it could be because actual larpers are just doing it for clout or something, I get why would you be angry. And I guess that makes me hate the fake accusations even more because they don't are not even for clout, it's just people enjoying things but they just don't know everything.

I don't know for me like If I were a big fan of something I wouldn't call someone else a larper because they don't know everything or they just like one single thing about it and know nothing else about the thing I am a fan of.

I don't know man please don't murder me this is just my honest opinion I just hate the word larper so much.
