i'm starting to try writing

So, this is a small life update but for context a good while ago (before last school year started i'm pretty sure) i was out shopping with my mom as i usually do since i like going outside and hanging out with my mom. And as me and my mom were in the line for checkout i found a pretty big notebook with geese all over it. I managed to get it and i then spent the whole school year trying to write a story in it only to inevitably end up giving up on it and eventually ripping out the pages for a clean slate. But recently i've been starting to read more and trying to use stuff like TikTok less since it messes with my attention span (which is already really bad since i have adhd)

So yeah, i'm trying to write again Mostly because i've been reading and i just like doing stuff with my hands. Recently i've been having fanchild brainworns and thats mostly what i've been writing. And something i've noticed is i tend to make things more complicated then needed, my writing being no exception. 

Since the characters in the media i'm writing basically fanfic about have 50 different names and are already basically the personifications of concepts i tried to follow a similar pattern. and i also tend to be very heavy handed with the symbolism and even using the same symbolism for different characters and having it mean different things. So this story is probably going to be a very confusing read for any poor soul i subject to reading this, especially if its my boyfriend because as much as i absolutely adore him he is very much a "maybe the curtains are just blue" kind if person. And this will only be worse if i ever had him read my writing since i really like a lot of gothic literature and enjoy using really flowery language and run on sentences, and i tend to use a lot of descriptors so i just know this is gonna be hell for anyone other then me to read.

But hey, its a first draft after all. i might end up making a second draft and remove unnecessary stuff on the secound write.
