I'm still wrapping my head around the insane decision by Sony to proudly announce they will be stopping printing physical discs in 2028. But it got me thinking about something aside from the current conversation around ownership and physical media (which are and will always be important).

What are leaving behind for our immediate friends, family and close connections?

This last week I've decided to start keeping a physical journal as I move into some new life changes and I've found myself thinking more and more about what the eventual and hopeful reader of my ramblings will see and feel. How raw do I go? Is brutal honesty the best over a good story and historical accuracy? By pairing this with a more intentional mind towards photographing I hope this leaves a document of who I actually was and will be, rather than trying to piece together a digital footprint or whatever else comes around.
