My Trip to Houston: Visiting my Boyfriend

I recently got back from my trip to Houston! I went down there to visit my boyfriend and his family (They were really nice and liked me a lot) :3 This was my very first time flying, and by myself mind you *sobs*. I was really nervous at first; I didn't know what to expect or where to go. Luckily, my airport wasn't as bad and pretty small, so I didn't have too much issue. The workers were really nice too and patient.

Theses are some of the photos I took while on the plane. I got a window seat thankfully. It was easy to lay my head against it and rest during the 2 hours. My boyfriend was the one who bought my ticket and seating <3

When I arrived to Houston, I was surprised by how popular the airport was. I guess it wasn't a shocker since Houston is a popular city, but still.. I was looking around for where pick up was and got lost a few times, but found it thankfully.

Let me tell you, Texas driving is a whole different beast. Seeing these people drive on the highway was insane... no turning signals and cutting others off (or just being horrible at driving).

When I finally arrived to his house, I was surprised and greeted by my boyfriend. He was supposed to be in class when I got there. I was extremely happy to see him :3

Here's some pictures of him and I together. I actually got his silly "lost in the sauce" shirt :3 Also, he wasn't driving when I took the 3rd picture ;v;

Speaking of the shirt, we got it at the mall. They had a hot topic and a BUNCH of sleep token merch. I believe I mentioned it in my last blog, but this mall had WAY MORE. That's where I got his shirt, as well as the necklaces :3

I traded him the lighter one since green is his favorite color :3 We only wore the opposites because it matched our current outfits.

As stated before, we found some cool shirts, lip gloss, and a BACKPACK!!

My boyfriend bought me the lip gloss (I refused to let him buy me anything else, even though he tried when I wasn't looking). I honestly love the backpack so much! It's not as big as my college bag, but it's perfect for me. Also, the side pockets fit water bottles so well.. we using it when we went to an asian market, and bought ramune (both glass and metal bottle). He got grape, while I got melon :3

We actually found a japanese claw machine store. Let me tell you, those machines are so rigged. We almost got some, but the claw immediate dropped them. We gave up and went over to a "book" store. I put that in quotes because it was books, games, manga, anime figures, and some pins!

After going through that store, we went to a Japanese restaurant! They had a wait list so we were standing for a few minutes (wait list as in writing your name down and waiting for them to call it out). My boyfriend got chicken and curry, while I got a rice bowl with chicken soboro.

The food was sooo good. I would say his was better, but both were extremely good :3 My bowl had a runny side up egg that coded my rice. soooo flippin good. The soft chicken and the curry was amazing as well. Maybe he did have the better meal.. Looking at it again makes me hungry ;v;

When we got back to his house, he surprised me with some gifts!

I honestly love these gifts so much.. I love the design of the hoodie and scrunchies >< He is too good to me.

After relaxing and watching some monster together, he wanted to take me out to dinner. I have never been to In-and-out before, so this was my first time experiencing it. I actually believe the burgers are really good. The fries may have been a bit too salty, but nevertheless, was still good :3

I also really liked that some of the food had biblical verses on them. It was nice to have our food be blessed <3

We spent a whole week together. It was so fun and I didn't want to go back home, but I knew I had to. We departed and now I have to wait another month before I can see him again.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed my rambles about texas and spending time w/ my partner :3 This will happen again <3
