pt2 of the weird guy that keeps following my friendgroup

okay so i know probably no one saw pt1 but you can look at it if you want to ANYWAY so today was sports day and while me and my friend (the one the weird guy probably likes) were walking to the place where it is with our form and the rest the weird dude was kinda following us too, and i assumed he just happened to be behind us but when we moved because my friend was feeling uncomfortable around him he STARTED FOLLOWING US TO WHERE WE WERE GOING. she also told me that he asked if they can be friends and she said "idk". so yeah hes pretty weird and we kept trying to avoid him but he couldnt take a hint. and so while we were sitting down when we arrived he sat next to us and when we moved he started to move with us until we moved further and he stopped trying to follow us. same thing happened when we were going back to the school except we didnt move away from his as much so he didnt follow us much. when we went back while the two other peeps in my friend group were in the line he kept trying to say hi to them. and ik it might sound like we're being mean but he couldve literally asked to be friends w us because thats what i did and we ARE friends but he just creepily follows us so now we really dont wanna be friends with him. so quick word of advice, if you want to be friends with someone - TALK TO THEM. do not just creepily follow them around and hope they take a hint or something.

I'm not trying to excuse him, but could it be that he has some kind of social phobia or even doesn't know how to make friends? He seems more like an awkward guy trying to fit in, he reminded me of myself TvT

If he does something more serious like unwanted touching or even comes up with awkward conversations, I advise you to talk to the pedagogical support at your school, or try to be honest with him and tell him that the way he is acting is bothering you, sometimes a simple conversation solves much better than indirect comments *v*
