Sometimes an adventure doesn't have to be very big
You know, sometimes it's just putting on your shoes, going for a walk with your favourite humans, and seeing where the path takes you.
This weekend, we went for a little family walk. Nothing overly grand or exciting, Just some fresh air, a few bridges, a pond, a very giant pink peony...and one very tiny adventurer who insisted on coming along.
And honestly? These are my favourite kinds of adventures. ♥
Without further ado, here are some pictures from our small adventure:
Wandering, chatting, taking pictures.
Our tiny explorer encountered a beautiful flower approximately 400 times her size.
Allow ourselves to have the slower, and quieter moments.
Because apparently one bridge wasn't enough of an adventure.
At some point, my love became a temporary dragonfly landing pad. We did not book this experience, but nature had some other plans.
That is truly the thing I've noticed about these tiny joys. They don't always announce themselves. Sometimes they're waiting beside a pond, hiding in a flower, sitting on someone's shoulder, or quietly following you across a bridge.
A very small adventure. A handful of ordinary moment. And somehow, still a day worth keeping. ♡
