Writing actually works

One time I took this lecture class and couldn't afford the textbook for it. I was also stretched pretty thin and didn't take any time to study for that class either. Every class was just a lecture from the professor, and you took notes. I'd go to every class and just write every single thing he said down in the notebook I had for the class and then left. I surprisingly got high marks for every quiz we had. My point is, simply writing everything down just made it stick in my mind. 

I'm not recommending just taking notes and not studying for a class (don't do that lol) I'm just saying it surprised me how I actually did pretty well in that class from writing alone. I can write pretty fast bc it's been a hobby of mine long before college. But anyways yeah after that semester I was like woah that worked?? 😭
