likeee on multiple occasions at school iv had food or drink containers thrown at me simply 4 being goth... like i expect that from teenagers but genuinely there r grown ass adults doign this too??? i've had some dude at a 7/11 look at me with the most OBVIOUS disgust in his eyes just like casually, i wish i could show y'all what that dude's face looked like because he was looking at me like i'd just started fingering an open wound ¬_¬ bitches never seen an alt person before i guess

I don't know but I guess they're just culture shocked.
I think you'd fare well at 2000's in the right circle and not have that kind of problem.
But unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case nowadays, things quite drastically changed mainstream wise.
I hope you won't have that problem down the line anymore, but if I were around you I would just be fine with you and just let you do your own thing as long it's not something messed up.
