I don't read very many books 'cos they put me to sleep, but I'd be tempted to try and take them on someday. Glad to make your acquaintance, the movie recs are appreciated and lol thank you ๐ I jumped from Windows 10 to MX Linux last December and haven't looked back; maybe if I start to get bored with MX, I'll just either go full Deb or add it as a dual boot option to my computer by thevoidisred; (edited); Report yeah, you're on the right track escaping microshaft and starting with a beginner friendly distro. if you can install anything you want or do all of your updates and update source lists with nano in a terminal, you can surely do debian. it's way more stripped down and higher on the new software release chain, and isn't linked to any for-profit entities like canonical. do the dual boot if you're not sure of yourself yet, or just go for it if everything I said makes sense ๐ |

Although I miss the presence of Jon and R+C, I must admit :( Hope your week is going well! :) Thanks for the add and it's good to see you here ๐ this place is becoming quite lively, for sure. it's nice to not be banned because of laws made by people I didn't vote for, that aren't even in my state..lol.. age verification problem solved. the developer of this site actually has a passion for it, and is working the bugs out as we discover them. it's really got spacehey beat badly on features and keeps getting better as quality users like yourself slowly migrate here. the future is really bright!! I miss Val and Jon terribly. That's another advantage of a different platform..as I jump through all the hoops to log in there, I look forward to seeing them.. yet I know they will never return. |
