I’ve never been to a concert before, so I need to hear about everyone’s first one and maybe also how it went

My first was Iron Maiden. "Somewhere in Time" had just been released. I was so excited! Me and like a DOZEN friends rented a limo, the limo driver was a friend of a friend, so he bought us some beer, we had a great time!

my first concert was ghost! i saw them in december 2019 :-)

i don't listen to ghost anymore, and i don't remember the concert that well anymore... but im sure it was a great experience nonetheless!

Winter Jam 2014 😔 I was a child and felt uncomfortable with all the praying and evangelical specific stuff (grew up catholic, had never been to non-denominational anything, felt very strange to hear god talked about so personally and intimately), but my friend wanted me to go. I went for a couple years after that if only to see the rock acts who were generally less overt in their messages because my dad liked them ヽ( ´ー`)ノ

@Reverie it ends there 😅

My first ever proper concert (from what I remember) was seeing Alex G, in like december 2023. I had made a friend go with me cause I was properly reclusive at the time. It was a fun time, and after that, I started going to more concerts by myself to get over my agoraphobia. My first proper moshing experience was at a Fleshwater concert, I had so much fun.

Fun fact... The banner gif on my page is actually an edited photo I snapped deep in the pit of Machine Girl, while matt was crowd surfing.

The user beneath me has been detected giving their own reply Kudos!!!

@SteadmanSlick going to concerts alone to push through your agoraphobia is honestly really impressive and probably something i should try in other areas of my own life too im glad it turned into something you genuinely enjoy now

My first concert was just a year ago. I got to see a band from Barcelona called El Diablo de Shangai. It was the first time they had come to my province, so it was a really special experience. I’ll always remember that concert, the lights, the summer heat, the atmosphere, and the songs. It was a night I’ll never forget

@discmaan_  damn i hope my first concert is like that too because that sounds like an absolute banger of a night
