@Cranky Old Witch Probably both. A lot of players got moved for the new teams (which I dont understand some of the choices for the teams-) but I know the Frost had issue maintaining their #1 popularity spot with Curl on the team. Frost fans can rest easy now- its going to be a bad time for Detroit though. Kinda messed up they signed her to Detroit because they were most excited to get their own team! I honestly think she needs to be removed from the league. She's intentionally violent, has horrible sportsmanship and does all the evil shit on purpose, which she brags about. PWHL has no room for hate like that. Especially when its LQBTQ+ fanbase has helped build the league.Β
@β π«π±π¦ππ¨ β I mean ... I don't like it and I suspect a lot of the fan base doesn't either, but having a 'villain' in sports can bring in the fans and $s as much as the heroes.
I'm not sure that's going to work though, with hockey. Even if it has worked for boy's hockey.Β
@Cranky Old Witch the issue is she's intentionally violating the PWHL rules and they're just letting her do it. It'd be fine if it was mostly harmless stuff that created that money making drama but she's intentionally hurting other players and causing severe injuries on purpose. I feel like sports can be aggressive and fun without hurting other people do please rage-baiting crowds. A lot of her hits are head-checks and she's injured a player previously and it resulted in the player being excluded in lineups. They just fine her and then keep going π€· The PWHL has had a few other controversies recently though so I'm not surprised. I still love them though lol
Shane Dawson is such a huge creep, it breaks my heart how Drew was treated by him, I'll always despise him for that too, among the other horrendous bs he's done.Β
Same I really hope Drew's doing well, he seems like a really sweet person. So glad to hear Garrett is still making vids, I haven't kept up with him but I'll have to check out his newer videos
@bryyyc yes. A lot of it isn't all that serious, and the other stuff he's apologized for. He's not the greatest guy ever, and there's prob a lot of stuff idk about. I would look into it if you're curious. A lot of people who were in the demo for "victims of Schlatt" aren't mad at him for it. I think the cancelling was mostly during the like, extreme twitter Covid phase so...take that as you will.Β

flamingo and jerma i like to watch alot as background noise. i also like Annie angel who does Minecraft. and for like gothy kind of story times i love watching of herbs and alters, i wish they did more vlogs because they're so cool.

John Wolfe is the main guy I watch (γ Β΄ Λ `) He plays a lot of horror and puzzle games, and his commentary is pretty chill in a "cool dad" way. My favorite non-gaming series of his is the Revisiting Goosebumps as an Adult series.
